After practising the five external accessories, dharna the first internal accessory of yoga is practised. The mind which is completely outward, that is, outside the body, now becomes inward.
After having mastered the breath, that is pranayama, the yogi should subject the senses to the mind by prathyahara. Then, he should let his mind rest upon an auspicious object.
Success comes when you are ï¬t and energetic. These qualities are acquired by dharana.
