    1. Just as the lion, the elephant and the tiger are tamed slowly and gradually taken under the control, in the same way, the vayu should be controlled gently and by slowly, in slow degrees. Otherwise, it will kill the practitioners.

    2. When Praṇayama is performed properly, the practice eradicates all diseases. If the pranayama is practised in an improper way, that practice generates diseases.
