    1. Body is known as Shareera in Samskrit. Body is an interesting and special entity for everyone. This body is a complicated system and has many features. Most of the people have a very basic idea and knowledge of the body.

    2. Everyone has their own perception of the body and spends a lot of time to take of the body. If the individual has an idea of a 'body-image', they make an effort keep that individual engaged in maintaining that body image which the individual believes.

  3. Section 3 Shareera: The Container

    1. Generally speaking, a body is a container, an object which holds various things. Shareera is also a of many things. Shareera, the body has six bhavas or vikaras which are known as the modifications or changes. They are: Existence, Birth, Growth, Change, Decay, Death

    2. Samsara, that is, the world-experience is the result of a chain of actions having a link with: Deha, Karma, Raga, Dvesha, Ahamkara, Aviveka, Ajnana.

    3. Shareera – Kshetra, the body is of three types - sthula shareera ---- the gross body; sukshma shareera ---- the subtle body and karana shareera --- the causal body.
