Karmas or kriyas have a strong benefit on the health and maintenance of the body. Since there is a difference of opinion about the practice of shat karmas, one should seek the guidance of the guru and decide whether to practise shat karmas or not.
Insert through a nasal passage a smooth thread of the length of a hand span (about 25 cms) and draw it out through the mouth. This is called neti by the Siddhas.
