    2. They are the great vows, universal and not-limited by life-state, life-space, time and circumstance.

    3. Upon the thoughts of sin troubling, habituation of the contrary, to be cultivated.

    4. When the habit of not causing injury (when firmly established in non-violence) is confirmed, hostilities are giving-up in his presence.

    5. Vigour is power. When the yogi perfects this vigour without allowing any obstacles to check it, he acquires spiritual energy.
